So you say you want to draw that scene that you love but you don’t know where to start? OKAY you want to paint but your drawing skills aren’t what you think they should be or need to get back into the fundamentals to push forward in your creative endeavors? Let’s Draw with Donald Stephens will assist in the understanding of drafting and observation to create any image needed from still life to figure drawing. Through the understanding of line, shape, form(space the final frontier), light (tonality) and surface movement will challenge all levels on their creative journey. This course is good for all levels for a full understanding of Drawing and its connection to creativity.

Don has attended Burlington County College obtaining an AAS 90’. He then furthered his yearning for the arts at Temple University Tyler School of the Arts, where he has achieved his BFA 96’; simultaneously completing a full term in the United States Marine Corps Reserve as a Communicator.
Lately, he has displayed his work in various locations in the Delaware Valley area and Northern New Jersey Area. The role of Artist/Instructor/Lecturer has been carefully added to his list of creative skills.
Materials are not included: > 18x24 Drawing Paper Pad (or smaller), 24x36 Drawing Board with Bull Clips (or smaller), > Compressed Charcoal Sticks and Compressed Graphite Sticks, > Charcoal Pencils : 2B to 4B (or hard soft and medium), > Ebony layout Pencil, > Graphite Pencils : 2H-6H and 2B-6B, > Plastic Eraser, Kneaded Eraser, Pink Pearl or Gum Eraser, > Chamos Cloth or Paper Towels, > Box Cutter or hand held pencil sharpener, > Art Bin for carrying supplies( or any container to hold supplies), > Can of Workable Fixative Krylon (or Hair Spray: Just for Hair, Aqua Net, etc.)
