What Color is That!!! With Watercolor: When I paint, why does my paint color seem to turn to mud? Why is my color flat? Do you want to paint, but don’t know where to start or what color to start with? What Color is That?!! with Donald Stephens will help you learn the concepts and basic processes of watercolor painting. Topics covered include the basics of color theory, primary, secondary, tertiary and all other color movements. Through photographs and still life painting, students will be challenged to explore this wonderful medium. Participants are encouraged to bring photos of personal interest.
Participants will gain:
Understanding of additive and subtractive color and properties
Ability to identify colors in visual space
Working knowledge of watercolor paints
Ability to create landscapes, still lifes and much more

Don has attended Burlington County College obtaining an AAS 90’. He then furthered his yearning for the arts at Temple University Tyler School of the Arts, where he has achieved his BFA 96’; simultaneously completing a full term in the United States Marine Corps Reserve as a Communicator.
Lately, he has displayed his work in various locations in the Delaware Valley area and Northern New Jersey Area. The role of Artist/Instructor/Lecturer has been carefully added to his list of creative skills.
