In this class, participants learn the basics of flight by building their own paper airplanes and other flying toys made from common everyday items. Attendees are encouraged to create and customize designs through the use of techniques borrowed from origami. By folding paper and combining household items, learners are introduced to aerodynamics, scientific observation, and the use of data to improve their creations.
