The David R. Hunt Memorial Members’ Show

The David R. Hunt Memorial Members’ Show was established to honor David Hunt, a loyal Art Co-op member of MRAC for over 30 years. David was a dedicated painter who sold more work through MRAC than any other member in its 70 year history. He passed in 2021.

The David R. Hunt Memorial Members Show is made possible by generous donations from his family.

This year’s show will be judged by local gallerist and artist Carol Taylor-Kearney of Powell Lane Arts in Collingswood, NJ.

“The Memory Remains”

Prizes will be awarded by our appointed judge that best embody the concept.

Artwork submitted for this show should interpret the theme, which conveys layering and memory, in some way - not as a restriction but as an inspiration. Work doesn't necessarily need to be custom-made for the show but should fit the concept, as a tribute to our shared lives as artists and to honor one of our members who has passed on.

Much of the work will be for sale, and a portion of the proceeds will benefit Manayunk-Roxborough Art Center.
